Terms & Conditions

Placing an order signifies that you agree to our terms and conditions of sale. Your statutory rights are not affected by the terms and conditions.

1. General

These conditions of sale ("the conditions") supplied by Sticks Furniture ("the Company") of Unit 1, The Chocolate Factory, Union Road, Abergavenny ("The Company's address ") to a purchaser ("the Buyer") shall be incorporated into each contract ("the contract") made by the Company for the sale of the Company's goods ("the goods"). The company contracts upon such terms as are agreed between the Company and the Buyer.

2. Carriage and Packing

The prices stated do not include delivery. Local deliveries will generally be free of charge: distances further afield will be by negotiation. What constitutes as "local" is at the discretion of the Company.

3. Price

All prices shall be as stated by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any discounts or "special offers" displayed will only be applicable at the time of display.

4. Payment

All orders require a 25% deposit on order with the balance payable either on or before delivery.

5. Delivery, Examination and Claims

The Company will use its best endeavours to complete the delivery on or before any delivery dates requested by the Buyer or estimated by the Company. If delivery is not possible within the specified time, the Buyer will have the option of a full refund and cancellation of the order. The Company will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.

If the Company cannot complete delivery due to discontinuation of goods then any sum paid by the Buyer will be refunded and the Company will notify the Buyer at the address given on the order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and the Company will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered. The Buyer shall accept mutually arranged delivery. If the goods are undelivered and re-delivery is necessary, a charge may be applicable.

The Buyer shall, upon delivery, examine the goods and shall promptly (in any event within 3 working days) notify the Company, were appropriate, of any apparent damage, defect or shortages.

6. Refunds

Buyers are always advised to visit the showroom to inspect goods before they make a purchase. Upon receipt of ordered goods, should the buyer be dissatisfied for any reason they may return them at their own expense for a full refund of the cost of goods. Every care must be taken by the buyer to keep in pristine condition goods intended to be returned, as a refund cannot be given for goods damaged after delivery.

Until fully paid for by the Buyer, all goods remain the property of Sticks Furniture.

7. Descriptions

All drawings, descriptions, illustrations, weights and dimensions given in the Company's catalogues, price lists or other advertising matter are approximate and intended for guidance purposes only. They may be subject to change without prior notice to the Buyer.
